The Sun's Page 3 is the highly visible tip of misogyny's iceberg
A lot of women feel that people who want an end to Page 3 are uptight harridans, envious, bitter and prudish, but it's important to understand why this editorial gimmick is so nasty!
Page 3 has been in the sun newspaper for years and everyday there is a nude picture of a woman on the 3rd page, is this right?
In the eyes of a feminist yes this is an outrage, how can a woman resent her self like this in a national newspaper and be happy with herself after. This also puts stress over young women and how they should look like these women on page 3.
In some aspects you look at these men gazing and naked women and feel like there relationship with women is not good at all, thats why they gaze at these women everyday on there way to work, but i am not generalizing about that every man reads the sun just for the breasts, but a large percentage do it for the quick thrill of seeing a naked women on a piece of paper.
